Hello Doug,
Once again, I would like to personally thank you and Barriston Services Ltd. for your continued support of the Rotary Club of Barrie Annual Fun Run and Walk. This year’s event was once again great success and it is committed community supporters like you that help make that so. With close to 1,000 Runners and Walkers, and a nice spring day, the waterfront was a buzz with happy healthy people coming together to support our community and enjoy our wonderful city.

Please remember that 100% of the proceeds raised go to the many important community causes Rotary supports. This included such things as the RVH Advanced Heart Care Initiative and Cancer Centre and the Georgian College Health and Wellness Centre. We also support individuals in need, not just large community projects.

As you can see from the photos, your support helped put smiles on people’s faces while at the same time raising funds for very worthy Rotary initiatives.

Next year’s event Chair is Kara Hoffsuemmer. She will follow up later in the year with details on our 33rd Annual Rotary Fun Run and Walk, which will be at the end of May as usual.
